We created this website with one primary purpose in mind: To help sports-minded people think and live biblically at the intersection of sport and Christianity.
This site represents our attempt to resource an underserved population—the athlete, coach, and spectator interested in allowing God to shape their thinking in every aspect of life, including their interaction with sports. We want to engage the issues surrounding sport culture by opening a door for thoughtful but accessible Christian analysis of sports. We also want to offer daily spiritual content for those concerned with the redemption of both sports and those who love them.
While millions of Christians who love sports are consuming online content, no major sports ministry produces gospel informed commentary on current sports events in the digital space. We want to change that on this site. You can help us by sharing this content with others that you think would be challenged by it.
The highlight of the summer for over 40,000 people takes place the first Sunday in August in Wickliffe, Ohio – it’s called The FEST. This day of faith, family and fun will bring together thousands from across our region for great live music, activities for the kids, great family-friendly food and much more. The FEST is FREE and open to all. It takes place at the Center for Pastoral Leadership (28700 Euclid Avenue in Wickliffe).
We have a special opportunity for all Moms. Come to the Marc’s Mom’s Relaxation Station to hear great presentations and receive helpful information and timely tips to care for your home and family. We also have over 150,000 samples and giveaways for you. Guys can enjoy the day in the Man Cave, where you can expect good information on how to be a man of God and a strong faith leader in your family and community. All the guys will go home with some great giveaways. The Kid’s Activities Area is loaded with activities to help each child appreciate their unique goodness and gifted-ness and the importance of working together to build a stronger, better, holier world.
The FEST is a one-day family FESTival sponsored by the Diocese of Cleveland. It’s designed to bring thousands together for a an amazing family day – for FREE. Join us from Noon until 10pm for activities for your entire family and an exceptional experience. The amazing family day concludes with a Catholic Mass at 8pm followed by an amazing American Fireworks display. Invite your friends and family and join us. All are welcome as we come together for the highlight of summer – The FEST.
